A polar bear wounded in Dixon is on the mend. This was reported in the press service of the Moscow Zoo. The animal began to show activity in movements and tends to move around the enclosure, choosing the most convenient and soft place. Employees of the Moscow Zoo also note an improvement in his appetite.

The final verdict will be made by a neurologist on September 12, the doctor will conduct an examination and tell you what you can count on.

The bear was under anesthesia for a long time. Therefore, the operation was decided to be postponed in order to stabilize his condition. At the zoo, the bear receives antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs.

The animal's hind legs are still inactive, the condition is assessed as extremely serious. One of the likely causes of paresis of the hind limbs, experts call swelling of the spinal cord.
